MATLAB can be used as an Activex automation controller. With the AciveX Automation Controller’s technology, users can control the AciveX automation server by writing M files in MATLAB. Use VB to develop OPCAxtiveX controls, use OPC automation interface, add communication modules to OPCAxtiveX controls, receive data from EDPF-NT system, and assign these data to OPCAxiveX control property values. The corresponding property values in OPCAxtiveX controls can be obtained by MATLAB, and the EDPF-NT system data can be invoked in MATLAB using OPC technology.
Build the OPCAxtiveX control and set up the network in the initialization of the internal working variables: secondly, add the network communication code in the OPCAxtiveX program to receive the data sent to the host computer by the EDPF-NT system engineer station, and finally, assign the received data to the ActiveX control property values.
