IC693ALG222 is a GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC module. The module is an analog voltage input module designed to accept up to sixteen (16) single-ended or up to eight (8) differential voltage signals, specifically 0-10VDC (unipolar) and -10VDC – +10VDC (bipolar) signals.

The IC693ALG222 channel can be configured separately. For a single-ended configuration, the update rate per channel is 6 ms, while for a differential configuration the update rate is 3 ms. At 0-10VDC, the module has a resolution of 2.5 mV (1 LSB = 2.5 mV), while at -10VDC – +10VDC, the module has a resolution of 5 mV (1 LSB = 5 mV). Regardless of the input type and wiring method configured, the module has an absolute accuracy of ± 0.25% of full scale @ 25 degrees Celsius or 77 degrees Fahrenheit, 0.5% of ± full scale within the specified operating temperature range, and a linearity of +/- LSB. For a single-ended configuration, the input filter responds to 41 Hz, compared to 82 Hz when operating in differential mode. The module has a maximum internal power consumption of 112 mA (backplane +5 VDC bus) and 41 mA (backplane isolated +24 VDC power supply).

This module is mounted on any available slot in the 5-slot or 12-slot baseplate. Based on Series 90-30 cpus, the number of IC693ALG222 installations is limited to 4 on systems using CPU 311, 313, or 323, 8 on systems using CPU331, and 12 on systems using CPU 340 or 341. In a system that uses CPU 350-364, the number is limited to 51. This includes remote I/O racks supported by each specified CPU.

The IC693ALG222 analog voltage input module consumes 112 milliamps of current from the 5-volt bus located on the PLC. It also requires 41 milliamps of current to power the onboard power converter, which powers the user-side circuit. The system supports a maximum of eight 16-channel analog voltage input modules and 331 to 351 GE cpus. It can be installed in any I/O slot on the PLC baseboard. The IC693ALG222 analog voltage input module has 2 green leds indicating the status of the module and the user-supplied power supply.
