The PXI-8461 is a high-performance PCI Express interface card designed and manufactured by National Instruments (NI). The card supports up to eight different high-speed CAN bus interfaces, as well as several different CAN communication protocols. In addition, the PXI-8461/D PXI DeviceNet interface module contains both master (scanner) and slave protocols, giving full access to the DeviceNet network. Not only does it have a 500 V optically isolated physical layer, but it also comes with NI-DNet software for Windows and LabVIEW Real-Time operating systems, providing advanced apis and deterministic control via the LabVIEW Real-Time module.
