The National Instruments cFP-AI-111 16-channel analog Current input module is a 16-channel input module for direct measurement of milliampere-current signals from a variety of sensors and sensors. The NI cFP-AI-111 is designed from top to bottom for production rates and reliability, provides filtered low-noise analog inputs with 16-bit resolution, and features overrange, HotPnP (plug and play) operation and onboard diagnostics. The 16 input channels on the National Instruments cFP-AI-111 module share a common isolated ground reference. These input channels operate under integrated overcurrent protection and are set to ±30 mA. In current measurement, the current entering the Iin terminal is considered positive, while the current leaving the terminal (Iin) is read as negative.
The integrated overrange function in this analog input module enables the device to measure more than 5% of the nominal value of each range. As a result, users will be able to measure ±21 mA with the choice of ±20 mA range. The filter provided in this device provides three Settings for each channel. These filters are comb filters; Therefore, they provide suppression gaps at harmonics or multiples of any fundamental frequency. At the fundamental frequency, a suppression of 95 dB is applied, and at the harmonics, a suppression of at least 60 dB is provided.
